Join Scott Campbell and Garth Robertson on this journey of transformation and healing. Scott will guide you into various Yin poses that will allow you to go deeper into yourself, as Garth supports and guides the experience with his gift of sacred sound therapy. They are opening up the Roundhouse where they live, and inviting you to enjoy this beautiful space.
The practice of Yin Yoga and sacred sound go together so wonderfully to create a healing space for transformation.
Sound Therapy has a rich history across many cultures, dating back thousands of years. There are many benefits to weaving this ancient practice into our modern daily life...turning off the flight fight response, interrupting patterns of stress... guiding the body into a healing state where anxiety is reduced, feeling more centered and grounded in your experience, and becoming more in tune with ourselves.
Yin Yoga is a slower, inward practice, open to all levels of experience, in which we hold for extended periods of time in passive (Yin) poses. We'll take time to explore our potential for greater openness, as well as respecting our limitations; helping to free us of old patterns -- physically, emotionally, and mentally.
We will stay low to the floor for most of this practice, with the greatest emphasis on the hips, pelvis, and lower back, which is very grounding, with an additional focus on the chest and upper back to open the heart center, the gateway to our true nature Yin Yoga can be therapeutic and healing for tendons, ligaments, and joints, and it will also stretch out those tight muscles you may have from stress or overuse. Plan to feel more physically open, emotionally and mentally calmer, and spiritually alive.
The suggested donation is $25-$30. The space is limited, so if you know you want to attend, let us know...you can reserve your spot by paying in advance. Contact either Scott or Garth to arrange your advanced payment or with any questions
